Columbia Records announced today two appointments in their Touring and Events Department. Jennifer Citron and Mary Madden have been promoted to Vice President of Touring and Events for Columbia. Both Jennifer and Mary report to Ryan Ruden, SVP of Experiential Marketing and Business Development for Columbia.
“Jennifer and Mary have proven to be innovative leaders in the tour marketing and live event sectors. I am excited for them to co-lead new initiatives and strategy around live that drive fan engagement and bring value to our artists. The entire company joins me in congratulating them on their well-deserved promotions,” stated Rudan.
Citron has been with Columbia for most of her career. She was appointed Senior Director of Touring and Events for the label in in 2015. Prior to that position she was Director of Touring and Events. Jennifer joined Columbia Records in 2007, appointed Manager of Tour Marketing and Artist Development after working at Sony Music Entertainment as an A&R Coordinator. During her tenure at Columbia she has been instrumental in successful touring and event campaigns for artists including Adele, One Direction, Harry Styles, Depeche Mode and others.

Madden was named Director of Touring and Events for Columbia Records in 2016 and has worked within the Sony family/labels for her entire career. She was appointed Associate Director of Touring and Events in 2013. Prior to that position Mary was Manager of Touring and Events, appointed in 2008. During her tenure at Columbia she has helped foster successful campaigns in the touring and event space for Leon Bridges, Bruce Springsteen, Hozier, John Mayer and others.
