Joe Gallo
Joe Gallo has been promoted to Vice President, Sales, Columbia Records. In this role, Joe will oversee all aspects of sales for Columbia and work closely with Joel Klaiman, EVP/GM of Columbia Records and the other members of Columbia Senior Management team. He is based in New York and reports directly to Darren Stupak, SME EVP/GM of Sales.
Joe will be responsible for leading Columbia’s frontline sales and managing its commercial partner relationships. In addition, he will focus on catalog initiatives, as well as developing new business opportunities and expanding non-traditional sales.
We are very happy to have Joe taking on this expanded role. He is an accomplished member of the Columbia sales team, and his vision and strong leadership skills will help us continue to grow the business for our artists and account partners.
Most recently he served as Senior Director of Sales for Columbia Records, where he worked with partners including Apple, Amazon and SoundClould. Prior to that, he held a number of digital and mobile sales roles on behalf of Columbia. He joined the Sony Music Sales team in 2013.
