Coldplay Announce New EP, Includes Chainsmokers Collaboration

Coldplay surprised fans this morning with the announcement of a new EP. The Kaleidoscope EP features five tracks, including their new collaboration with The Chainsmokers, “Something Just Like This.” A new song from the EP, “Hypnotised,” arrived today along with a lyric video.

Additionally, iHeartRadio has announced that Chris Martin with join the Chainsmokers for the first-ever performance of “Something Just Like This” at this weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. The event will take place this Sunday, March 5 at 5pm PT/ 8pm ET on Turner’s TBS, TNT and truTV.

Last but not least, today is Martin’s 40th birthday.
