Chris Booker returns to New York as the new afternoon drive host at Entercom Modern Rock WNYL (Alt 92.3). He replaces Corey B., who recently moved to co-host mornings with Cane. It is a homecoming for Booker, who spent years at long-time Big Apple Modern Rock WXRK (92.3 K-Rock) earlier in his career. He spent the past decade in Los Angeles, most recently doing mornings at AC KAMP (97.1 AMP).
Making the announcement today on social media, Booker wrote, “Starting today at 2p, I rejoin the only radio station that I ever dreamed of being on @alt923radio NewYork.. My emotions are all over the road as the date on the calendar will never be lost on me.. I celebrate the city and couldn’t be more proud to be coming home!”
