Charmaine Bey
iHeartMedia Urban AC WGCI (107.5 WGCI, The Chi’s #1 for Hip-Hop & R&B), announced today that Charmaine Bey will host “Inside The Midday with Charmaine Bey,” effective immediately. Inside The Midday with Charmaine Bey will broadcast weekdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Bey is promoted from part-timer and replaces Frankie Robinson, who exited last fall.
Inside The Midday with Charmaine Bey will “features Bey’s electric personality as well as entertainment news, live and local information and various show segments.” These include “Hip Hop/R&B & Throwback Hits,” “The Charmaine Report,” “The Group Chat,” “The Rewind with DJ BG” and “Charmaine’s Last Minute.”
“Charmaine is a tremendous entertainment asset, said WGCI PD Johnnie D. Glover. “I am looking forward to Charmaine connecting with WGCI listeners both on the air and socially on a star-studded level as our new midday host.”
