Frankie V and Geena The Latina present $10,000 to San Diego healthcare workers.
iHeartMedia Top 40 KHTS (Channel 933)/San Diego‘s morning team, Geena the Latina and Frankie V, along with producer Chris and phone screener Jess challenged San Diego to help raise money towards masks for health care workers.
What started out as just an idea turned into over $10,000 raised! The money went towards purchasing KN95 masks, sanitizer, and other supplies for those that needed it most.
Geena and Frankie spent their afternoon on National Nurses Day hand delivering everything to hospitals and health centers throughout the county.
“It’s so amazing to see San Diego come together in support of our health care workers,” said Geena the Latina. “I feel so appreciative to live in this wonderful city. Thank you San Diego and thank you to all our health care workers!”
Frankie V added, “I truly love our city! San Diego always comes through when we put them up to the challenge! It was amazing to work as a community to deliver for our hard working health care workers when they need us the most!”
