My first ever artist M&G, Carly Rae Jepsen at the Mixtape Festival at Hersheypark while I was PD WKSI-FM/Winchester, VA for a year (2012-2013). For some reason I thought this pose was cool. I also snuck backstage and had no business being back there but that’s a story for another time..
Winchester, VA iHeart family was awesome to me and I made many friends there that I still talk with weekly. Great group of people and a great place to learn.
My first artist interview, ever, back in Connecticut? Ed Sheeran in our Dunkin’ Music Lounge. My sideburns were also mad beefy.

I’ve been involved with PJ Day For The Kids for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for several years. It’s truly my favorite day every year to go to schools around the state and get people excited.
Another one of my favorite events, UCONN Huskython for Connecticut Children’s, where they always raise over a million dollars in a weekend!
I bought these gold pants to MC a Debbie Gibson concert on the New Haven green (seriously) and now they’ve ended up being my mandatory St. Patrick’s Day attire in the New Haven and Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parades…
Another event that I love every year: KC101’s Stuff A Bus, started by Glenn Beck, for Connecticut Foodshare. Tremendous cause and a great effort by our community.
Finally, an event near and dear to me because my mother is a breast cancer survivor: Seymour, Connecticut is a small town but has tremendous community spirit around their “Seymour Pink” events for breast cancer. I MC their major events every year and really am honored to be involved at that level. They have thousands run their 5K every year and a tremendous banquet which helps LOCAL families with nobody taking a dollar. Amazing charity!
