Andrew Keller

Andrew Keller has been named Vice President, A&R for Capitol Records, it was announced today by Capitol Music Group (CMG) Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer. In his new position, Keller will sign and develop artists for the company, as well as oversee recording projects for new and established Capitol artists. He is based in New York.

Keller comes to Capitol after 13 years at Columbia Records, most recently as Director of A&R. While there, he was responsible for signing and developing a diverse array of artists, including Krewella, Dillon Francis, Grammy-nominated dance artist ZHU, MS MR and St. Lucia and worked closely with metal band Bring Me the Horizon on its 2015 album, That’s The Spirit.

According to Jubelirer, “We are all so happy that Andrew has joined our Capitol family. He’s got great ears, a broad range of musical knowledge, and is incredibly driven to find and work with artists on the cutting edge. This is more than just a passion for Andrew; he lives and breathes his gig, and Capitol’s artists and future signings will benefit greatly in working with such a skilled and ambitious executive.”

Commenting on his new position, Keller said, “I am incredibly excited to be reunited with Steve Barnett and grateful to him and Michelle Jubelirer for the opportunity to join them as part of the Capitol team. From its legacy of iconic artists to its landmark Tower and studios, Capitol has served as a touchstone in the history of recorded music and it is a privilege to be a part of this exciting new chapter.”

Keller began his career as an intern in Columbia’s A&R Department in 2003.
