Brett Ballard
iHeartMedia-Norfolk has named Brett Ballard as Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host for Modern Rock WNOH (ALT 105.3, Hampton Roads Alternative Rock)/Norfolk, effective immediately.
As PD, Brett will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the station’s music programming and for all the station’s imaging and branding, as well as hosting the Afternoon Drive show. He will report to Tias Schuster, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia-Norfolk.
“After the successful launch of Hampton Roads Alternative Rock Station ALT 105.3, we knew that this station needed one of the best programmers to take the helm,” said Angel Brown, Market President for iHeartMedia-Norfolk. “I had the privilege of working in the same market as Brett Ballard and knew of his ability as a dynamic Rock programmer. We look forward to welcoming him to the Norfolk team and having the privilege of working alongside him as we continue to give Hampton Roads a better choice with ALT 105.3.”

Ballard joins the Norfolk Market from WTKX/Mobile, AL, where he most recently served as PD. He also programmed WRKH/Mobile, AL and WFFX/Hattiesburg, MS for iHeartMedia. He began his career at WXTB/Tampa.
