Billie Eilish and Finneas won a Golden Globe for Best Orginal Song – Motion Picture, for their collaboration on “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie: The Album. They previously won in the same category in 2022 for their track title track to the James Bond movie, No Time to Die.
“It was exactly a year ago, almost, that we were shown the movie,” Eilish said alongside her brother in accepting the award on the CBS Broadcast. “I was very, very miserable and depressed at the time, and writing that song kind of saved me a little bit.”
Other nominees in the category included: “I’m Just Ken” by Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson, “Road to Freedom” by Lenny Kravitz, “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa, “Peaches” by Jack Black and “Addicted to Romance” by Bruce Springsteen.
