Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell won the Academy Award on Sunday for Best Original Song song for “No Time to Die,” the theme song to the latest James Bond film of the same name. The song was released just over two years ago, shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic began, but due to the multiple delays of the movie itself, it was not nominated for the Oscar until this year’s awards.

Additionally, Questlove‘s film Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) won the Oscar for Best Original Documentary. The movie documents the Harlem Cultural Festival with never-before seen footage of the concert series celebrating Black music and culture in the summer of 1969. Unfortunately, his win came immediately on the heels of the incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock, as Rock was on stage to present the winner of Best Original Documentary.
