Beasley Media Group‘s Southwest Florida cluster has announced the following recent programming promotions:
Sheila Book has been named the new morning host of Wake Up SWFL on AC WJPT (Sunny 106.3)//Ft. Myers. She most recently was heard doing middays on WJPT for more than 15 years.
Joe Winner is named APD/midday host at Sunny 106.3. Winner has served on the air and as APD on sister station CHR WXKB (B1039) for more than 15 years. He will keep his current APD duties on B1039 in addition to his new ones at Sunny 106.3.
Having worked in the Ft. Myers market for over 10 years and loved by Southwest Florida made Babs the natural choice to fill the midday slot on the B1039. In addition, she will continue her current role as midday host for Rhythmic CHR WLLD/Tampa, where she is based
Jeff Zito is named PD at Rock WRXK (96K Rock), returning to a station in a market he spent over 20 years in. He will remain in Tampa and continue to hold the position of APD/on-air at Classic Rock WPBB.
Marija Puidak is named midday host and Programming Coordinator for 96K Rock. Most recently heard doing weekends on WRXK since November of 2020, she will now rock middays on 96K Rock.
