Beasley Media Group announces Boston Program Directors Mike Thomas of WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub) and David Corey of WKLB-FM (Country 102.5) have been elevated to the position of National Format Brand Managers on behalf of the company.
As the National Format Brand Manager for Spoken Word formats, Thomas will work closely with Sports Programming, Talk, Podcasting and sports content. In his new role, David Corey will focus on Beasley Media Group’s Country format stations throughout the company.
Thomas and Corey will continue to oversee their respective local market stations, while also focusing on their newly expanded roles.
“Mike Thomas and David Corey will join our existing National Format Brand Managers, John Candelaria (Urban) from Detroit, Cadillac Jack (AC/CHR) from Boston and Bill Weston (Rock) from Philly to round out a first class programming team to further support and elevate our stations,” remarked Beasley Media Group Executive Vice President of Programming Justin Chase.
