After generating 100 million+ streams, 4 billion-plus TikTok plays, and acclaim from Variety, Forbes, and more, UK-born twin brother DJ/production duo ALTÉGO (aka Michael and Lukas Fernandes-Pense) have officially release their new single “Bling Bling” on Arista Records.
The duo –who are known for merging musical extremes together to strike a balance between dancefloor-ready energy, pop universality, R&B drip, and hip-hop swagger– created an interpolation of Harold Faltermeyer’s original version of “Axel F” / Crazy Frog’s remake of the track with “Bling Bling”. The track preserves the original Beverly Hills Cop melody, yet swagged-out with a tongue-in-cheek chorus. “Bling Bling” has already generated buzz with over 65,000 Instagram Reels creations pre-release.
