AJ Malone
iHeartMedia-Tampa Bay announced today that AJ Malone has been named Program Director for WXTB (98ROCK, Tampa Bay’s Rock Station), effective immediately. As PD, AJ will be responsible for the station’s music and programming content, as well its personalities and digital extensions. She will report to Tommy Chuck, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia-Tampa Bay.
“As Assistant Program Director, AJ has played a key role in driving great ratings and revenue gains for 98ROCK,” said Chuck. “This upgrade in role and responsibilities is one she has certainly earned!”
AJ has served as Assistant Program Director of 98ROCK since August 2017. Her previous experience includes various roles including Program Director at WXSR/Tallahassee as well as Production Director at WOLT/Indianapolis.
