Adele continues to dominate the Billboard 200 chart, as 25 is #1 for the sixth week in a row, with another 363,000 equivalent albums. The smash release ends 2015 as the best-selling album of the year, with 7.44 million copies sold, according to Billboard. It is the biggest seller in over a decade, since Usher sold 7.98 million copies of Confessions in 2004.
The rest of the top ten is full of familiar faces, as Justin Bieber‘s Purpose remains at #2. Blurryface from Twenty One Pilots vaults to #3, due to a sale on the iTunes Store, as well as the current strength of their latest single “Stressed Out.” Made in the A.M. from One Direction is at #4, followed by Fetty Wap‘s self-titled debut at #5.
The top ten is rounded out by The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift and singer/rapper Bryson Tiller, whose album Trapsoul breaks into the top ten for the first time (it debuted at #11 in October).
