The soundtrack to A Star is Born stays at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart. According to Billboard, the compilation of tunes from Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper‘s hit film is the first soundtrack to spend three weeks at #1 in over a decade, since High School Musical 2 in September of 2007. The last theatrical movie’s soundtrack to stay at #1 this long was Bad Boys II way back in 2003.
At #2 is a debut from the team of Future & Juice WRLD on their collaborative album WRLD ON DRUGS. It earned 98,000 equivalent album units during its first week, the vast majority coming from streaming figures.
Retro rockers Greta Van Fleet debut at #3 with their first full-length album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army. The group had released multiple EPs in recent years, propelling the young band’s star in the Rock world. Anthem of the Peaceful Army earned 87,000 units, 80,000 of which were in traditional sales. Veteran rockers Disturbed debut right behind them at #4 with their latest album Evolution. It is Disturbed’s sixth record to land in the top ten. Both albums were boosted by ticket bundle tie-ins.
Tha Carter V from Lil Wayne is at #6 with Lil Baby & Gunna‘s Drip Harder at #7 and Scorpion from Drake at #8. The fourth top ten debut this week comes from Khalid, whose new EP Suncity arrives at #8. The top ten is rounded out by Travis Scott at #9 and Post Malone at #10.
