DrakeDrake was the big winner at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, winning 13 awards and breaking Adele‘s record of 12 back in 2012. Overall, Drake had 22 nominations and won for Artist of the Year, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album for Views, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and seven more. Beyonce and twenty one pilots each won five times while The Chainsmokers took home four awards. Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” won for Top Radio Song and Top Selling Song.

Cher was honored with the Icon Award and performed her hits “Believe” and “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Celine Dion celebrated the 20th anniversary of Titanic by singing its Oscar-winning theme “My Heart Will Go On.” Sean “Diddy” Combs also paid tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G.

Other performers included Miley Cyrus with her new single “Malibu” and Imagine Dragons, whose frontman Dan Reynolds requested a moment of silence for the late Chris Cornell. Nicki Minaj began the night with a nine-minute medley of her hits. Bruno Mars, Lorde, The Chainsmokers, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Halsey and Camila Cabello were also among the night’s performers.
