After a number of singles and an EP, hitmakers The Chainsmokers will release their debut full-length album later this year on Columbia/Disruptor Records. Additionally, the duo is set to hit the road on a massive headlining tour this spring. The “Memories: Do Not Open” tour begins on April 13 in Miami and runs up June 9-10 in Queens, NY. The Chainsmokers also have two-night stands on the schedule in San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Kings of Leon have added a new run of North American tour dates in support of their latest album Walls. The first leg begins on April 28 in Chula Vista, CA and runs up to May 20 in Holmdel, NJ. The next leg kicks off on July 26 in Saratoga Springs, NY and wraps on August 26 in Quincy, WA at the Gorge.

Black Sabbath keyboardist Geoff Nicholls has passed away at the age of 68. Nicholls joined the band in 1979, originally as a second guitarist, but switched to keyboards and remained with the hard rockers until 2004. He appeared on nine Sabbath records. On Facebook, guitarist Tony Iommi wrote, “I’m so saddened to hear the loss of one of my dearest and closest friends Geoff Nicholls. He’s been suffering for a while now with lung cancer and he lost his battle this morning. Geoff and I have always been very close and he has been a real true friend to me and supported me all the way for nearly 40 years. I will miss him dearly and he will live in my heart until we meet again.”
