The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2017, made up of Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, Journey, Yes, Electric Light Orchestra and Joan Baez. Additionally, Nile Rodgers of Chic will be honored with the Award for Music Excellence.

Artists are up for induction 25 years after their first release. Rolling Stone notes that Pearl Jam and Tupac are the first Hall of Famers whose careers started in the ’90s. Both also go into the Hall on their first year of eligibility. This was also the first year that hitmakers Journey appeared on the ballot, after decades of eligibility.

The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 7, with a later broadcast on HBO and SiriusXM.
