Usher‘s new album Hard II Love is set for release this Friday, but the R&B star dropped the record a few days early via Tidal. Hard II Love arrived at midnight exclusively for Tidal subscribes. It is Usher’s first new album in nearly four years.
Rumor had it that Adele was a contender for the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, but that report was debunked this summer. However, it appears that Lady Gaga is now the top choice to perform in Houston this coming February. Sources tell Billboard that Gaga is in talks with the NFL and sponsor Pepsi. A spokesperson for the NFL told Billboard simply that, “We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We’re happy there is so much excitement about the show.”
Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur and to honor his passing, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming biopic All Eyez On Me. The first trailer was released on Shakur’s birthday in June. No release date for All Eyez On Me has been announced yet. Watch the trailer below:
The schedule of Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days in L.A. series of concerts has been revealed. Set for the entire month of November throughout Los Angeles, the slate of shows includes a wide range of artists playing a number of different venues. The list of acts playing the 30 Days in L.A. series include HAIM, Pusha T, Charli XCX + Sophie, AlunaGeorge, Jhené Aiko, Troy Lanez and many, many more. Depeche Mode will release a giant box set of the band’s videos. According to Rolling Stone, Video Singles Collection will compile four hours of video footage, including 55 music videos, with two hours of audio commentary on three discs. It will arrive on November 11.
