iHeartMedia Modern Rock KYSR (ALT 98.7)/Los Angeles announced today that veteran air talent Chris Booker will join the station as afternoon drive host, effective January 4, 2021.
“Our paths have crossed for many years – mostly at The 1975 shows – and we finally found the perfect opportunity to work together,” said Lisa Worden, VP of Rock and Alternative for iHeartMedia and PD for ALT 98.7. “Chris is a pro with a knack for entertaining and a huge passion for Alternative Rock music. He’s a perfect fit for ALT 98.7, and I could not be more excited for him to join the team!”

Booker joins the Los Angeles market from Entercom WNYL (Alt 92.3)/New York, where he most recently served as afternoon drive host.
