Hypothetically, if you were running for political office, who would be your campaign manager and what qualities make that person ideal for the job?

Buster Satterfield, Q102: Sarah Lanieu, VP/Marketing at iHeartRadio Tampa. Because she’s not gonna put up with any of your shit!

Orlando, WLLD: My campaign manager? Someone who can make people pay attention and drive attention my way. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson!

Heather Deluca, WSJO: Wow. If I were to choose a real-life person, I’d have to hire my marketing coordinator here at Townsquare Atlantic City, Jennifer Smith. She’s amazing at spin and a Pitbull for getting things done and sold. She’d be a great advocate for pushing my platform. I’d take her into battle. If I were to choose a fictional character, it’d be Scandal‘s Olivia Pope ALL THE WAY. ‘It’s handled’.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Peter Gray, he can talk anything into being a winner!

Fish, WKRZ: I would choose two. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson because of his massive popularity and I think he could be pretty persuasive, and Joe Rogan because he’s a BIG voice with an immense reach and hits several touch points of society.

Josh Wolff, WAEB: I wouldn’t make a good candidate. Jonathan Shuford at WRVW would be my choice, though. Creative, smart, hardworking, and his skills with branding (River on the Rooftop) are top-notch.

Chuck Damico, WMMR / WBEN: Bobbi Silver. Because she’s Bobbi Silver.

Kevin Kash, WWEG: I might go with Lady Gaga because she gets noticed and she’s successful on multiple platforms. My rock influences might have me choose Gene Simmons because he can sell anything.

Jammer, WEZB: Diego (formerly of Q102). Many years later, everyone still knows and loves the man on the streets of Philly.

Alex Tear, SiriusXM / Pandora: Fred Deane, because he has the vision and would know how to elevate someone’s game and put it into play. He’s a good advocate and he’s able to have a multitude of conversations at many different levels with many different types of people.

Bob Patrick, WXLK: Betty White. She’s seen it all and quite frankly if you don’t like Betty White there something wrong with you!

Java Joel, WAKS: Paige Nienaber– Cuz dude’s got a great promotional/marketing mind. Him or John Sykes. Those early MTV promos were some next level shit!

Jeremy Rice, WBLI: The BTS Army!

Brian Mack, WXXL: I’d rather see Linda Byrd run for office. I’ll be HER campaign manager!

Valentine, WBHT: Kris Jenner, now that she might have a little extra time on her hands, and clearly, she knows what she’s doing. Option B would be Alex Tear, who needs no explanation!

Kobe, WZNE: Fred Deane, because he always makes me sound smarter.

Randi West, WRMF: I’m going to go with Jason Bateman. I mean who doesn’t like Jason Bateman?! He’s likable, charismatic, and can handle himself in any situation (at least that I have seen).

Frankie V, KSSX / KHTS: I’d have to hire the infamous Mikey V! No one works harder for success than that guy. Plus his mic skills at the club would come in handy during my campaign rallies.

Jordan, KSLZ: MJ! I know that he has my back, we have a great history, there’s camaraderie, and I can trust that his decision making would be in the best interest of what we’re doing together.

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Samuel L. Jackson. If you don’t vote for me, he’ll come to your house and yell at you. Plus, who’s going to say no to Nick Fury?

Bartel, WKTU: Bob Burke. He’s been a longtime friend/colleague, and confidant. We’ve been through a lot together over many years. He’s an accomplished industry insider with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to radio, music, and the artists who create it.

Jagger, WKSS: Jason Derulo. First off, I love him, he’s a good friend, plus he’s done a great job on TIKTOK, becoming one of the biggest celebrities on that platform. He’s done his own campaigning, so why not help me out?!

Matt Johnson, KSLZ: Well whoever got Trump elected certainly has some game in this department. I’d probably look to them.

Mike “OD” O’Donnell, WKRZ: James Corden because he just says it the way it is and he could just break into song at any moment.

Next Week’s Question Of The Week:
What other companies/industries should radio look at as a guideline for evolving its model?
