After spending six straight weeks atop the Billboard 200, Taylor Swift has been dethroned by Big Sean and his newest album Detroit 2. According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, Detroit 2 earned 103,000 equivalent album units in its first week of availability. Big Sean landed at #1 previously in 2017 with I Decide and 2015 with Dark Sky Paradise.
At #2 and #3 once again are Pop Smoke‘s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon and Juice WRLD‘s Legends Never Die, respectively. Rapper 6ix9ine‘s newest album TattleTales has the second-largest debut of the week at #4. Swift’s Folklore slips to #5.
The rest of the Top 10 is rounded out by the original Broadway cast recording of Hamilton: An American Musical at #6, Lil Baby at #7, Rod Wave at #8, DaBaby at #9 and Post Malone at #10.
