What new forms of entertainment along the lines of streaming content, digital games and tech toys have you discovered during the pandemic period we’ve been subjected to this year?

Buster Satterfield, Q102: Follow me on Twitch TV and see @FMBuster

Java Joel, WAKS:
My greatest discovery is “Cart Narcs” on YouTube. Courtesy of Agent Sebastian from iHeartRadio’s own Woody Show. Where they confront people at grocery store parking lots for not putting back their shopping carts. A genius bit I wish I would’ve thought of!

R Dub! Z90: No new “forms” per se…just some new shows! Like 90 Day Fiancé…which is actually old… but new for me. And soooo good! Makes me feel REALLY intelligent for once!

Rick Vaughan, KENZ: I’ve been spending most of my spare time in the garage. I fired up my radial arm saw and I’ve been building a little more, as well as doing some more mechanical work with my truck, car and boat. I’ve been Mr. Fix-it!

Valentine, WBHT: I’ve always been ahead of the curve on tech stuff. If anything, this year I’ve gone in the opposite direction. I’m spending so much time at home I’ve been getting outdoors more. I’ve rediscovered my passion from art to nature, things that I haven’t had time for before the Pandemic. Now I have time to stop and smell the roses!

Buzz Knight, Buzz Knight Media: The Amazon Echo Show 5, a cool extension of Alexa that is simple to use.

Josh Wolff, WAEB: I’m finding more enjoyment from reconnecting and staying connected with my friends, especially those I haven’t been in touch with much in recent years.

Randi West, WRMF: Just a lot of Netflix. Spent a lot more time on it.

Jagger, WKSS: I’m having a lot more fun with Instagram Live. Last week when it was national vinyl day, I had some fun with posting myself going thru some of my vinyl records, among other things. We also did a lot of binge-watching spring into the summer with shows on Netflix and Amazon.

Bartel, WKTU: Been going back and binging on old classic sports games.

Fish, WKRZ: I’m watching more streaming shows on Amazon and Netflix and discovering some really cool ones. As far as video games, that’s always been my thing so I’ve been ahead of the curve in that area. Although I am waiting for PS5 to get here come Christmas time!

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: I’ve really been spending much more time outside and working on my yard.

Jeremy Rice, WBLI: I ran a record 127 miles in May and beat Scott Dimig c/o the NIKE Run APP. Running is always great and during COVID it’s been a perfect social distance escape! More time to play golf since the courses are closer to home, Joel Klaiman is a PGA tour pro! I’m enjoying Money Heist on Netflix, but you have to watch it in the original Spanish language with subtitles for the real feel. Of course, I LOVE cooking for the entire family.

Max Volume, KOZZ: New entertainment? Going outside…

Mike “OD” O’Donnell, WKRZ: I generally don’t binge watch, but I just binge watched six seasons of Bosch on Amazon. I watched sixty episodes in 3 and a half weeks! On the handyman side, I’ve been painting the upstairs’ bedrooms one by one all summer long.

Chris Michaels, FM100: With all the Zoom calls, I’ve really gotten good use out of my Airpods. I didn’t think I would like them, but I use them a lot! I’ve been walking my dog a lot more since the pandemic as well!

Kobe, WZNE: I’ve really dug into specific Facebook groups, and I’m rediscovering TikTok!

Kevin Kash, WWEG: I’m developing a podcast and listening to a bunch of them.

Terri Ray, WKLT: I’ve discovered Rummikub. A good old-fashioned game that my housemate and I play several evenings a week.

Jason Squires, KFRR: Sports Entertainment.

Terry Stevens, WJXQ: My daughter has been going on about Thomas Sanders’ “Sanders Sides” YouTube vids for…ev…er. I finally watched them with her, and wow, what a talented dude! I’ve also re-discovered and have been playing a LOT of Magic Arena. It’s the digital version of Magic: The Gathering. My fellow radio Planeswalkers can add me at ScaryFNTerry#44629.

Next Week’s Question Of The Week:
What three songs will best define the summer of 2020, and what is the surprise hit of the summer?
