Jon Manley
Cumulus Media has announced that Jon Manley has been named APD/MD for Modern Rock 101 WKQX/Chicago. Manley, a Chicago native, will also be heard weeknights from 7pm – midnight. Manley was previously APD/MD/afternoon drive host at Modern Rock KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle. Prior to that, he held the same duties at Modern Rock KXTE (X107.5)/Las Vegas.

Manley said, “As a kid growing up in Chicago, I recorded songs off WKQX to play back later on my Sony Walkman. And now I get to be the one cracking the mic and helping to shape the sound of the station for the next generation of music nerds! It’s cliché to say, but it is literally a dream come true for me and I could not be more excited to start this new adventure.
