Raph

iHeartMedia Top 40 KIIS (102.7 KIIS-FM)/Los Angeles has added some fresh talent to its air staff as Raphael “Raph” Opida comes aboard to do 2pm-5pm, beginning this Fall. Raph will arrive in the City of Angels from the City of Brotherly Love where he’s spent 5 years at sister Top 40 WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia. “Raph on the Radio” hosted nights and he also served as the station’s APD/MD.

“Philly and Q102 will always be a part of me, but I am SUPER EXCITED to join another LEGENDARY station in 102.7 KIIS-FM!” Raph tells FMQB. “Big thanks to John Ivey for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I can’t wait to get started!”

Previously, Raph had spent 7 years at WPXY/Rochester as an air personality and Promotions Director before joining Q102/Philly in 2014.

Raph will be followed by Jesse Lozano from 5pm-7pm. Lozano extends his deal with KIIS-FM and he’ll also continue his live morning show on sister Hot AC KMYI (Star 94.1)/San Diego.
