Rapper Logic has earned his third #1 album on the Billboard 200, as Confessions of a Dangerous Mind lands atop this week’s chart with 80,000 equivalent album units. This is Logic’s third #1 album in three years, as he accomplished this with Bobby Tarantino II in 2018 and Everybody in 2017. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was powered by streaming, as its 80,000 units were made up of 54,000 SEA units and 24,000 in album sales.
Tickets went on sale last Friday for Logic’s Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind Tour. The 26-city tour of the U.S. and Canada will start October 5 ain Vancouver and wrap up in Madison, WI on November 16.
Billie Eilish spends another week at #2 with When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, followed by Khalid‘s Free Spirit at #3 for the second week in a row.
Veteran rocker Sammy Hagar has the second-largest debut of the week, as Space Between from Sammy Hagar & The Circle comes in at #4. This gives the former Van Halen singer his first-ever solo top ten record, according to Billboard. Its numbers were powered by a concert ticket/album bundling offer for his current trek.
At #5 is Ariana Grande‘s Thank U, Next. Queen‘s Greatest Hits I II & III: The Platinum Collection jumps to #6, thanks to a sale in the iTunes Store. Country singer Luke Combs sees his 2017 record This One’s For You return to the top ten at #7. Billboard notes this is due to his new single, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” which was just released, even though the song isn’t on This One’s For You and will appear on his next album.
Baby on Baby from rapper DaBaby climbs from #14 to #8. Post Malone is at #9 with beerbongs & bentleys, followed by a debut from Mac DeMarco with Here Comes the Cowboy at #10.
