The lineup for the 2019 Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco has been revealed, with Twenty One Pilots, Childish Gambino and Paul Simon set as headliners for the three-day event.
Simon had previously announced he was retiring from full touring, but said he would still perform live occasionally and always for charitable benefits. In a statement, the Outside Lands organizers said, “His passion for environmental protection and ecology are closely aligned with that of the festival, making Outside Lands a natural choice. Simon will donate the entire net proceeds from his performance to local environmental non-profit organization(s) to be announced at a later date.”
Also on the bill for Outside Lands this year are Kacey Musgraves, The Lumineers, Blink-182, Flume, Kygo, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Hozier, Mavis Staples, Counting Crows and many more.
Outside Lands returns for the 12th year to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from August 9-11.
