Radiohead

The nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2019 have been revealed and the list is as eclectic as ever. This year’s list consists of Radiohead, Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Rage Against the Machine, The Cure, Janet Jackson, Devo, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, Roxy Music, Todd Rundgren, John Prine, MC5, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and The Zombies.

To become eligible for the Hall, an artist’s first release had to come out no later than 1993. Many of the nominees have appeared on the ballot before, though this is the first time for Def Leppard, Devo, Prine, Roxy Music, Rundgren and Nicks (as a solo artist, since she is already a Hall of Famer with Fleetwood Mac).

Over 1,000 artists, journalists, historians and members of the music industry will vote on the Class of 2019, while fans can also weigh in on the process via rockhall.com or in person at the museum in Cleveland.

The inductees will be announced in December with the Hall ceremony taking place March 29, 2019 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The ceremony will then air on HBO later in the year.
