Rapper Mac Miller (real name Malcolm James McCormick) has passed away at the age of 26 from a reported overdose. According to TMZ, Miller was found Friday at his San Fernando Valley home and pronounced dead at the scene. Miller had a history of substance abuse problems and was arrested for a DUI in May, right around the release of his latest album, Swimming.

The Pittsburgh native put out music under a number of aliases and various projects in his youth. His proper debut record under the name Mac Miller, Blue Slide Park, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in 2011. Miller released a number of EPs and mixtapes throughout his career, along with five full-length studio albums. He dated Pop star Ariana Grande for almost two years and the pair just split up earlier this year. Grande had publicly voiced her concern for Miller’s substance abuse problems.

Miller was slated to launch a fall tour of North American tour later this year, starting October 27 in San Francisco.
