Live Nation Entertainment has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2018.

The company reported operating income up 19 percent, adjusted operating income up 18 percent and revenue up 7 percent. Total Q2 revenue for 2018 was $2.9 billion, up from $2.7 billion a year earlier. Operating income in Q2 was $134.7 million.

With its concert business, through July, Live Nation has sold approximately 70 million tickets to shows this year, almost three million more tickets than at this point last year, putting the company on track to have over 90 million fans attend its concerts in 2018.
