Rich Davis
iHeartMedia announced today that Rich Davis has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for Minneapolis and Program Director of KEEY FM, effective immediately
After 34 years at K102 and iHeartMedia Minneapolis, Gregg Swedberg will be transitioning to a new strategic advisor role with the company. His new role will focus on assisting with iHeart Country projects and will continue to be part of the iHeart Minneapolis team helping with the transition.
“I’m looking forward to having the unique opportunity to help lots of stations in iHeartCountry and assisting Rich and Chad with this transition,” said Swedberg. “I can’t wait for Nashville to embrace Rich, which I know they will. The iHeart Minneapolis team will just keep on winning.”
Davis will step into the Senior Vice President Programming role and take over as the Program Director of KEEY (K102.1). Rich has been Program Director of KDWB since 2016, and prior to that programming for iHeart in Seattle and Nashville.
“When I first got to KDWB in 1997 I never dreamed I’d one day get the chance to take over for the legendary Gregg Swedberg,” said Davis. “I hope to make him proud and continue our success with these amazing teams and brands in the Twin Cities. Thanks to Kris Foley, Gene Romano and Eric Lonnquist for the opportunity!”
