The 20th annual 93.3 WMMR I Bleed for Preston & Steve Blood Drive was a milestone event that brought out thousands of generous fans to support one of the region’s most impactful community traditions.

Held over two incredible days—Thursday, June 12th at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and Friday, June 13th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks—the event resulted in the collection of 930 units of blood, including donations from 74 first-time donors.

• 765 units collected in Oaks
• 165 units collected at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia

This year’s remarkable turnout brings the 20-year cumulative total to 21,999 units of blood donated—a powerful testament to the compassion and commitment of WMMR’s dedicated listeners. That’s nearly 22,000 lives potentially saved over the course of two decades.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the American Red Cross, whose staff and volunteers once again helped bring the blood drive to life. Gratitude also goes to Neumann Media at Neumann University, Window Nation (for providing the event’s signature tote bags), and listener Kristen Kimball, who designed this year’s commemorative T-shirt.

In addition, WMMR On Air Personalities Jacky Bam Bam, Pierre Robert, and Brent Porche lent their energy and spirit to help make this milestone year even more unforgettable!

“As we reflect on 20 years of I Bleed for Preston & Steve, it’s clear that this is so much more than a blood drive,” said Preston & Steve. “It’s a community coming together to make a real difference—and every pint collected represents a life potentially saved!”
