The record earned 208,000 equivalent album units, the fifth-largest week for an album in 2018, with 85,000 units in traditional album sales. Billboard notes that West is now tied with Eminem for the most #1 albums for hip-hop artists, with eight. JAY-Z is at the top of that list with 14. Every single one of West’s albums, save his debut The College Dropout, debuted at #1. (The College Dropout debuted at #2.) He joins Eminem and The Beatles as the only artists with eight straight #1 albums. Billboard adds that Ye earned the seventh-biggest streaming week for an album ever as well.

At #2 is Post Malone with beerbongs & bentleys. The second-biggest debut this week comes from rockers Ghost, whose newest album Prequelle gives them their highest charting position of their career. Prequelle benefited from an album/ticket bundle deal for Ghost’s tour.

Country singer Luke Combs jumps from #39 to #4 with his album This One’s For You, which just had a deluxe reissue adding five new songs. Cardi B is at #5 with Invasion of Privacy. Juice WRLD’s Goodbye & Good Riddance is at #6 followed by The Greatest Showman soundtrack at #7. Shawn Mendes comes in at #8 with Lil Baby at #9. The top ten is rounded out by Rearview Town from Jason Aldean, which gets a boost from #27 to #10 thanks to an album/ticket bundle.
