Arista Records has announced the promotion of long-time A&R exec Matt D’Arduini to Executive Vice President of A&R. He will continue to work out of the New York office and report to President David Massey.
D’Arduini, who has been with Arista since its relaunch in 2018, will continue to oversee A&R across the label alongside Massey. D’Arduini has played a crucial role in helping develop acts across Arista’s global roster, including the Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum-selling Italian rockers Måneskin, Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum JP Saxe, the platinum Paul Russell, and many more. He also supported the recently released soundtrack for “The Idea of You,” Prime Video’s most streamed rom-com debut, which has just seen its Billboard Chart debut on three charts.
Massey shares, “It has been a privilege to work with Matt since the very beginning to bring our roster to where it is today. His leadership is integral to our continued success and I look forward to the future growth of our artists under his guidance and support.”
D’Arduini adds, “I am thankful for the continued mentorship I have received from David Massey over the last six years at Arista and throughout my career. I am thrilled to continue working together to further foster an environment where artists can push creative boundaries with the support of the most forward-thinking team.”
Before the Arista re-launch, D’Arduini spent six years at Island Records where he worked across the roster including Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes and Mike Posner. He spent the preceding ten years at Robins Entertainment working with Cascada, Afrojack, DHT and more.
