Janetzy Perera
iHeartMedia announced today that Janetzy Perera has been named Midday Host for Top 40 WHYI ( Y100)/Miami, effective immediately.
“Janetzy is thrilled to re-join radio, and her in-depth knowledge of the vibrant South Florida culture and energetic approach with listeners will be a great addition to our team!” said Taylor Jukes, Y100 Program Director for iHeartMedia Miami.
Janetzy joins iHeartMedia Miami with versatile on-air and producing experience at multiple South Florida radio stations, co-hosting mornings at WFLC plus various on-air shows at WRMA and WXDJ. She began her career in Promotions at iHeartMedia Miami and is a graduate of FIU.
“My Miami roots and Cuban background have driven my passion for engaging with others on and off air, while also becoming involved in the community I love. I can’t wait to join the team at my favorite radio station – Y100!” said Perera.
Effective immediately, Y100’s Sami Jo moves to an exciting new on-air role with iHeartMedia’s National Programming Group.
