If you could manage any artist of any era, who would it be and what’s the attraction?

Erik Bradley, B96: Mariah Carey because she’s one of my very best friends in all of the land!

Adam Rivers, WKCI:
Any of the boy bands in the late ’90s. must have been wild.

Derrick Cole, WAEB: The Beatles, need I say more?

Bob Patrick, WXLK: The Beatles. That era of craziness and Beatlemania is just never going to happen again.

Toby Knapp, WASH: That’s a great question. I’d have to choose someone like Matchbox Twenty, Paramore, or a band I really care about. Why? Because if you believe in the people, and the music, it never works. It’s just a cool way to live life, and that’s what we’re all striving for, right?

Orlando Davis, WLLD: If I could’ve managed Drake, he would’ve been much bigger. Musically he has it but movies and products would’ve been the focus, from the jump. He missed the proverbial bag, not going back to Hollywood, in his pursuit to be hard and carry baseball bats.

Jana Sutter, WXXL: Taylor Swift, it’s self-explanatory! I love Frank Bell he is awesome. They have that thing down to a well-oiled machine and they’re nice. Hands-down, I want to go into that camp in a heartbeat.

Jagger, KCHZ: First one that comes to mind is Prince. He was such an amazing talent. There were so many things he was great at. Aside from being a songwriter and performer in his own right, he was very much a part of a cycle of Pop culture that still endures today.

Matt Johnson, WPLW: The Beatles. So I would never have to work ever again!

Drew Heyman, WHYI: Post Malone. The kid is authentic and delivers cool songs.

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Managing anyone that breaks barriers and sets trends for music like Elvis (would’ve been awesome), The Beatles, and The Temptations. I could say the same thing about Guns N Roses in the ’80s, or Nirvana in the ’90s, and Backstreet Boys in 1997.

Buster Satterfield, WIOQ: A 90s country star. They were printing money and compliant.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Frank Sinatra. It’s Frank, and I’d get to hang around with the Rat Pack!

R Dub!, Z90/Magic 92.5:
Since I was a kid, I have had an obsession with Louis Armstrong. So, Satchmo!

Valentine, WBHT: The Beatles! How insane would it have been to watch that happen? Tour the world and be in the center of the mania.

Brian Mack, iHeartMedia: I got out of management for a reason, Manage an artist? I can barely manage myself!

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: The Beatles, for obvious reasons. Would probably not want to be there for the breakup though.

Jeff Hurley, iHeartMedia: One of the massive Pop acts from the TRL era. Britney, BSB, NSYNC, etc. I saw the madness of that whole era from the radio side. Would love to see it from the other side of the business.

Chris Michaels, FM100: Probably Garth Brooks! He has a well-run machine and just gets it.

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: One of my favorites Marvin Gaye. He led a troubled life, struggling with depression during his entire career after the tragic death of his partner Tammi Terrell. Amazingly during his 25-year career, he went through several stretches without hits, a crime for a man with his talent and incredible voice. Another soulful voice who we just lost, Bobby Caldwell. He was underappreciated and never got credit for an artist being ahead of his time. Many of his songs were sampled by major hip-hop artists like Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Notorious B.I.G. He should have been bigger. I would have loved to have been involved in managing the careers of both men, it would have been a labor of love.

Rich Davis, KDWB: I would obviously manage Def Leppard, love those guys! For current artists, I’d love to be in Taylor’s camp. I don’t think anybody does it better.

Jammer, WEZB: The Beatles and I would have been filthy f’n rich!

Lee Abrams, mediavisions: Yes in the early ‘70s.
