Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack is publishing a book of his favorite stories and poems from Edgar Allan Poe. WIYY (98 Rock)/Baltimore invited 25 contest winners and their guests to The Horse You Came In On, a small bar in the Fell’s Point section of Baltimore. This is believed to be the last spot Poe visited before dying. (Check out this link for the connection.)
The band performed an acoustic set for the lucky winners, followed by a Q&A co-hosted by 98 Rock’s morning co-host Justin and nighttime host Wendi. Then, Andy did a reading from Edgar Allan Poe for the audience. Afterwards, all the winners did a meet-n-greet photo with the band and received a vinyl copy of the audiobook.
The entire event was filmed and highlights will be featured on an upcoming episode of “Justin, Scott & Spiegel Shouldn’t Be On T.V.” on WBAL-TV 11 and the Very Local streaming app.
