Mike O’Reilly
Cumulus Media has promoted programming veteran Mike O’Reilly to PD of Modern Rock KCJK (X105.1)/Kansas City. O’Reilly continues in his current role as PD/Afternoon Host for CHR KCHZ (95.7 The Vibe). Cumulus concurrently announced that it has appointed programming professional Al Payne as PD for Urban AC KMJK/Kansas City.
O’Reilly, a Kansas City native, started his radio career at KCHZ in 1997, launched KCJK in 2004, and did a nine-year run in San Diego at KFMB until moving back to Kansas City in 2015 as PD of KCHZ.
Payne joins Cumulus from Beasley Broadcasting, where he was PD of WMGC (105.1 The Bounce)/Detroit. Payne has spent 20 years as a successful Hip Hop/Urban AC/Rhythmic programmer throughout the industry.
