Kanye West has made chart history once again as his long-in-the-works new album Donda gave him the largest week on the Billboard 200 this year and easily debuting at #1. Donda totaled 309,000 equivalent album units, topping Olivia Rodrigo‘s Sour, which had 295,000 units in June. Donda also makes West the seventh artist in Billboard 200 history to have ten #1 albums, putting him in the same company as The Beatles, Jay-Z, Bruce Springteen, Barbara Streisand, Eminem, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Drake (who will surely have another #1 album next week), Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift. Donda is also West’s tenth straight #1 album in a row.

The album was released on a Sunday, not a Friday, which means it earned these totals in just five days, not seven. The massive 27-track album is only available digitally and no physical release has been announced.

At #2 is another debut, as Halsey‘s new record If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power earned 98,000 equivalent album units. The album is a collaboration with Nine Inch Nails Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who produced If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.

Rodrigo’s Sour is at #3, with Doja Cat at #4, The Kid LAROI at #5 and Morgan Wallen at #6. Billie Eilish lands at #7, followed by Rod Wave at #8 and Trippie Redd at #9.

The only other top 10 debut this week is from rapper Lil Tecca at #10 with We Love You Tecca 2.
