Now that the touring/concert scene is swinging back in full gear, which live shows are you looking forward to attending the most?
Rick Vaughn, KENZ: What the world needs right now is Pitbull, and we have a Pitbull show coming here on October 2. I’ll be there. I’ve never seen a bad Pitbull show. Valentine, WBHT: The Weeknd, Post Malone, can’t wait to see Justin Bieber and how his live show has evolved, and I’m really interested in seeing Olivia Rodrigo. After her SNL performance, I want to see how that translates to a larger venue. Buster Satterfield, WIOQ: Guns ‘n Roses in Atlantic City. Josh Wolff, WAEB: iHeartRadio Music Festival. Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Elton John was just announced and I’m really stoked about that one.
Mike O’Donnell, WKRZ: I’m very interested in seeing Justin Bieber, and my two guilty pleasure shows are The Eagles and Elton John. Mike McVay, McVay Media: Elton John. I’ve seen a couple of his other farewell shows and I’m looking forward to this year’s farewell concert. |
Joey Brooks, WKSS: Luke Bryan is next Friday, also excited about the Thomas Rhett tour, and Luke Combs later in the year. On the Pop side, Jonas Brothers should be fun…and of course our 2021 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Bartel, WKTU: Any EDM festival, Enrique Iglesias & Ricky Martin, and Maroon 5. Jana Sutter, WXXL: Outdoor ones! I’m not quite ready for indoors yet. My first concert back will probably be Kings of Leon. They’re going to be outdoors in Tampa the day before my birthday in August. They’re so great! John Reynolds, WNKS: All of them! Fish, WKRZ: There’s not a lot scheduled for this market unfortunately. I just want something. Give me some kind of Pop-friendly Rock Top 40 show and I’ll be happy. Tommy Chuck, WFLZ: 93.3 FLZ’s Jingle Ball. Heather Deluca, WSJO: Can’t wait to catch Maroon 5 again, Harry Styles, the Hella Mega Tour w/Green Day, Genesis this fall, and next year Motley Crue with Def Leppard and Poison! Matt Johnson, WPLW: Billie Eilish. Max Volume, KOZZ: All of them! |
Jagger, KCHZ: Elton John would be great to see. The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, vibing on those too. Alex Tear, SiriusXM/Pandora: MGK! Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeart Country Festival and Jingle Ball. But very excited about Taylor Swift too! Drew Heyman, WHYI: Jingle Ball is always a huge event with lots of cool artists. Mikey V, Kiss 108: Any concert event at Fenway Park or the big hip hop shows like Drake. Toby Knapp, WASH: All of them. Just live music in general. Erik Bradley, B96: twenty one pilots in a small theatre in Chicago, Usher in Las Vegas, and all of the upcoming Audacy shows/events that we are planning. Rich Davis, KDWB: I was supposed to see Def Leppard for my birthday last year so I definitely want to see those guys, and Justin Bieber will be early next year and that’ll be a good one to see. |
Next Week’s Question Of The Week:
Outside of radio, if you could create a business model to own and operate just for the pure joy of it, what would it be?
