Matthew Harris
iHeartMedia has announced that Matthew Harris has been named Promotions Director for Hip-Hop & R&B 107.5 WGCI/Chicago. Harris will be responsible for managing and executing promotional campaigns and events for WGCI. He will report to Echo Robinson, Director of Marketing and Promotions for iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region.
“Matthew brings more than 10 years of promotions and programming experience to our marketing and promotions team,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Chicago’s Region. “We are excited for the new promotional opportunities he’ll be creating for our advertisers and listeners.”
Harris joined iHeartMedia Chicago in late 2017 as part of the programming team. He previously worked at Cumulus Media in Peoria, Illinois, where he rose from Promotions Assistant to Promotions Director for the market’s five radio stations. He also served as an afternoon drive and night host for WZPW and WIXO in Peoria.
