Lori Giamela

Lori Giamela and Kevin Valentini have been promoted to Vice President, Rhythm Promotion, RCA Records it was announced today.  Both recently held the role of Senior Director, Rhythm Promotion, RCA Records.  Giamela will remain in the company’s west coast office, while Valentini will remain in the company’s New York headquarters.  The two will continue to report to Joe Riccitelli, Co-President, RCA Records.

For the last two years, Giamela and Valentini, have run the Rhythm Radio Department and through their leadership have brought the RCA Rhythm Department to its current #1 chart share standing amongst all other labels for 2018.

Giamela is a seasoned music executive with over a decade of marketing and promotion experience. Since 2016, Giamela has been the co-head of the Rhythm format at RCA crafting promotion strategies to help break numerous artists at the format including G-Eazy, Tinashe, Bryson Tiller, SZA, and Khalid. Prior to her 5 years at RCA, Giamela has held positions in radio promotion at Capitol Music Group, Def Jam and Elektra.

Kevin Valentini

Valentini, also known as Inca, started his tenure with J Records/Sony in 2004 overseeing Mixshow Promotion in the Urban Department.  In 2011, he transitioned to the Pop department as National Dir. of Rhythm Radio and shortly after was appointed co-head of the Rhythm Department.  Valentini has secured numerous #1 records across multiple formats throughout his career and has played a pivotal role in the success of each artist’s project including G-Eazy, Chris Brown, Miguel, Kid Ink and Tinashe to name a few.
