The Minnesota Twins have announced a merchandise agreement with Prince‘s estate, with purple Twins gear to be sold at Target Field this season. The team will also celebrate Prince Night on June 8, giving away inflatable toy guitars shaped like Prince’s symbol.
In related news, Janelle Monaé says the late Pop icon worked with her on some material that will appear on her upcoming album Dirty Computer. Speaking to BBC Radio 1, she said, “Prince actually was working on the album with me before he passed on to another frequency, and helped me come up with sounds. And I really miss him, you know, it’s hard for me to talk about him. But I do miss him, and his spirit will never leave me.”
Meghan Trainor will release a new single, titled “No Excuses,” this Thursday. It is the first taste of her upcoming third record. The Four judge also has released a few teasers for the “No Excuses” video via her Instagram.
