Even more artists have been added to the lineup for this weekend’s 60th Annual Grammy Awards. Emmylou Harris will team up with Chris Stapleton (who plays SNL the night before); vocalist Zuleyka Rivera will perform with previously announced performers Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee; and Sting will play at the show as well. In addition, musician Jon Batiste will perform with Gary Clark Jr. in a special tribute to Chuck Berry and Fats Domino. The Grammys will be handed out Sunday night on CBS starting at 7:30 pm.

The eclectic lineup for the 2018 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has been announced, led by Jack White, Aretha Franklin, Sting, Aerosmith and Lionel Richie. Set for two weekends this spring, April 27-29 and May 3-6, the event features 13 stages and hundreds of performers. The lineup also includes David Byrne, Khalid, Bonnie Raitt, Cage the Elephant, Sheryl Crow, Jack Johnson, Sturgill Simpson and many, many more. You can find the full lineup at nojazzfest.com.
Elton John has announced his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” which the Pop icon says will be his final world tour. At a news conference, he said, “I am not going to be touring anymore, apart from the last tour which is going to start in September. My priorities have changed in life.” However, his farewell tour is going to last for three years and consist of at least 300 dates before wrapping up.
Earlier this week, Pearl Jam announced their two “Home Shows” at Safeco Field in Seattle on August 8 and 10. The band has now added a handful of other stadium gigs this summer. Pearl Jam will play Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula, MT on August 13. They’ll return to Wrigley Field in Chicago on August 18 and 20 then play Boston’s Fenway Park on September 2 and 4.
Up-and-coming rockers Greta Van Fleet have expanded their 2018 tour. In addition to a number of festival gigs, the band has added May headlining dates in Austin; Baltimore; Sayreville, NJ and Philadelphia. Greta Van Fleet will also play a second show in Nashville after selling out their May 16 gig and a third show in Detroit on May 25 after selling out two already-announced shows. The band has been touring behind their 2017 EPs and are also working on recording their full-length debut record.
Modest Mouse will hit the road this spring for a 5-week North American tour, starting in Birmingham, AL on April 18 and wrapping up May 24 in Oakland. The band will be a part of the Forecastle Festival in Louisville in July as well.
