Jack White has announced a tour of North America, the UK and Europe in support of his upcoming album Boarding House Reach. The tour is a mix of headlining gigs and festival appearances, many of which were already announced. The trek begins on White’s home turf of Detroit on April 19, with appearances at Governors Ball, Shaky Knees and Boston Calling. The first North American leg wraps up in Toronto on June 9. White will them head overseas for two-night stands in London and Paris, as well as a show in Amsterdam. A second North American leg begins in Minneapolis on August 6 and runs up to August 23 in Las Vegas. Boarding House Reach is out on March 23.

Also announcing a new tour today is Dave Matthews Band, who will hit the road for one of their traditional spring and summer tours. It begins in The Woodlands, TX on May 18 and runs all the way to September 10 in Los Angeles. DMB also promise that a new studio album is on the way this summer, a copy of which will be bundled with every ticket to their tour.

David Byrne has also announced a world tour in support of his American Utopia record, due out April 9. The tour includes both headlining gigs and festival slots all around the globe. After a brief sold out tour of the northeast in March, Byrne will head to South America for a series of dates (including multiple Lollapalooza dates). He’ll play Mexico, the U.S. and Canada throughout April, May and June, with UK and European tour dates in June and July. Byrne returns to North America for more U.S. and Canadian dates from late July into late August, wrapping up at Red Rocks in Colorado on August 28.

And in further touring news, U2 is taking their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE tour to Europe this summer. The new dates begin in Berlin on August 31 and run up to October 23 in London. The band notes that “plans are being finalized for some special home shows in Dublin and Belfast (with dates, venues and on-sale details to be announced soon).”
