Taylor Swift - ReputationThe initial sales data has been revealed for Taylor Swift‘s new album reputation and as expected, it is poised to be the biggest release of the year. Nielsen Music reports that reputation sold over 1 million copies in the first four days it was available. It’s already the best-selling album of 2017, passing her pal Ed Sheeran‘s record ÷. Of course, Swift kept reputation off streaming services, so it could only be purchased physically or digitally. Swift has now sold a million records for each of her last four releases: reputation, 1989, Red and Speak Now.

The surviving members of Stone Temple Pilots (Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo & Eric Kretz) are reviving the band name with a new lead singer, Jeff Gutt. The singer is an alumni of The X Factor music competition series and has spent time in a variety of rock bands over the years. STP founding frontman Scott Weiland split from the band years before his death in 2015. He was replaced by Linkin Park‘s Chester Bennington, who died earlier this year, for an EP and some touring. However, the DeLeos and Kretz had been auditioning new singers since 2016. The new lineup made their debut at a SiriusXM concert on Tuesday night and released a new single, “Meadow,” today. A full album is in the works, according to Rolling Stone.

After more than two decades, the long-running Vans Warped Tour is coming to an end. The punk festival will have its final full run in the summer of 2018. Founder Kevin Lyman released a lengthy statement today, saying, “I have been a very lucky person to have traveled across the country and sometimes around the world as one of the founders and producers of the Vans Warped Tour. Today, with many mixed feelings, I am here to announce that next year will be the final, full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour. I sit here reflecting on the tour’s incredible history, what the final run means for our community, and look forward to what’s to come as we commemorate the tour’s historic 25th anniversary in 2019.”

Gwen Stefani is getting her own holiday special next month in conjunction with her recently released record. Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas, which is also the name of the album, will air on December 12 at 9 pm on NBC.
