Alex Mac
iHeartMedia has announced that Alex Mac has been named Afternoon Personality and Music Director for ALT 106.3, Des Moines’ Alternative Rock station, as well as Evening Personality for ALT 104.9, St. Louis’ Alternative Rock station, effective October 30. Alex will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the station and its music programming. He will report to Dustin Fletcher, Director of Alternative Rock Programming for the St. Louis Region and Greg Chance, Regional SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia Des Moines.
“Passion and drive are just two of the qualities that Alex will bring to the table,” Chance said. “He is very engaged and I look forward to working with him and driving ALT 106.3 in Des Moines and also ALT 104.9 in St. Louis.”
Mac joins the Des Moines market from iHeartMedia Richmond, where he most recently served as the Night Host on XL102. He began his career with iHeartMedia Richmond as a Promotions Assistant and is a graduate of University of Richmond.
