Which label reps would make good programmers and which radio PD/MD’s would make good promotion reps?

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: I think John Boulos would make an excellent programmer, and on the flip side I could see Steve Wazz being able to get into that world. I also think Sassy could do it if she wanted to as well. She has the personality.

Sassy, WKXJ: I think Jon Borris, Mike Castellucci and James Marsh would all make good programmers, and Rod Phillips, Dan Hunt and Brian Mack would do well as label reps.

Matt “MJ” Johnson, KUDD: I would make a good promo rep because I tell the truth…LOL!

Jonathan Reed, WNOK: Haven’t really met any label people who I think would make good programmers. Radio programmers who make good promotion people, Michael Chase at Sony RED and John Mayer at Caroline.

Gina Gray, WERO: Charlie Walk would make a good group programmer, I also think Joe Hodge, Ted Hoekstra and Myra Dehais could all make the transition. As far as us radio people, why would we want to do that it’s too much work?!

Brian Mack, WXXL: Tommy Nappi for radio, Mark Adams for promotion.

Chris Michaels, FM100: Reid Shackelford would make a great MD. Michelle Lewis would make a great promotion rep.

Jeremy Rice, WBLI:I think it would be great for all of us to understand our business models and why our companies execute our plans accordingly for success.

Fish Boy, WKRZ: Bob Weil would do well programming. I would make a good promo rep. I have the passion for sure and I know how to work a hit.

Kobi, WNRW/WLGX: Nicki Farag and Joe Daddio would make good programmers. John Ivey would make a good label promotion exec.

Java Joel, WAKS: Howard Lesnick of Atlantic. ‘Cuz he’s buddies with Peter Wolf from the J. Geils Band and would probably put “Flamethrower” in as an “Oh Wow”.
